The Q Meet is a chance for swimmers to experience swimming in the World Class facility of the King County Aquatic Center, (Site of the 1990 Goodwill Games; 1991, 1994, 1997, 2000, and 2006 Spring National Championships; 2003 US Open; 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Championship).
Both 25 yard, 9 feet deep, 8-lane competitive pools will be used in the AM session: 13 & Over events in the scoreboard end and 10 & Under and 11-12 events in the dive tank end. The diving tank will be available for continual warm-up. There are 2500 spectator seats for parents, as families are not allowed on deck.
It is a great achievement to be able to participate, and for the first time in the club's history, we have 18 swimmers qualified.
Ensure that you are there early. The meet moves VERY quickly, so know your events and heats well ahead of time.
